accidentally applied to a job with my personal email I made when i was twelve and I still got a call back for some reason
hearing a fifty year old real estate agent read back explosionsofawesomeness to me with absolutely no inflection in his voice was the most jarring experience of my new year so far.
No. You dont understand. I have to do this as a hiring manager, following a successful interview. I will have a pleasant conversation with an applicant, start vibing with them, have them fill put paperwork, and then a couple days later, verify their email so I can send them the 1st day info, and last Friday, I had to call my new hire and ask, “…and the email we have on file is… yolohavenoregrets100@email.com? Is that the best address for you?” as deadpan as possible, while I am visibly dying from holding back laughter
me at Olive Garden at 11:02 am staring down the elderly people impatiently waiting outside knowing we should’ve opened 2 minutes ago but my boss is in the back cheating on his wife with the girl who makes the salads and he has the key to unlock the doors
